    "Flash."

Trying to find the Big-O theme. But I'm not trying too hard.

The shit is clear plagiarism.

But unlike Flash Gordon, Big-O is cool.

I remember when I first heard it, and thought "WTF is Big O?" The next night, I saw a Big O thread on OT, and I asked if anyone had realized the similarity between the Queen music and the Big O intro besides me - To which Trishield responds "There is no intro to Big O." So I thought it must have been another show...

Until tonight. Victory is mine!

Dude I saw the 1980 movie in the theatre, and few things could have been cooler. Especially with Max Von Sydow and the music by Queen....

In fact, few movies rocked -and I do mean rocked - as hard as the 1980 Flash Gordon screen adaptation.

Right after I first saw it, I had nightmares about that Arborian initiation ritual.

With a future James Bond no less.
Flash was it back in the day.

Just started watching Big O. First time I thought the song was about some Hentai orgasm. Cool show, the usual big robot, but still different in a "Dark City" kind of way.

Yep. I didn't realize until I watched again much later that Timothy Dalton played Baron. :bigthumb:

And I think I still have some residual, longterm-memory crush on the actress who played Aura. MMMM MMM MMMMM. :naughty:

The Truman Show + The Matrix = Big-O

Once you see all the episodes of Big-O, it will all make sense.

That was a good flick. Wonder how much it influenced the Matrix?
