W/ having bought a new car recently, i've been frequenting a few new (to me) message boards and forums lately. I swear like 85% of the pictures people post on those boards are completely overdone HDRs. :ugh2: God it's so damn irritating.

/yourself. use a method that doesn't allow you to change your mind after you've already started, such as trying to swallow a bullet travelling at over 700mph, or something similar. :hsugh:

I did a bunch of car shots for a club for their caledar and everyone of them wanted me to do an HDR of their car. I impolitely refused.

Wait, there's a huge difference between hdr and over done hdr..
There are many times in which a photograph will look like shit even if you nailed the exposure/did your edits, have no depth/no interesting-ness to the photo. I have no problems viewing a HDR as long as it doesn't look like the shit posted above.

I properly done HDR won't immediately scream "HDR!!! DUR DUR REHHHHH!!!"

The whole idea of an HDR is generally to mimic what the human eye sees. If your eyeballs see what the HDR photos above look like, you're on some wonderful drugs and I would like you to PM me please.

:dunno: and they wanted it over the top like the ones posted above.

I'll admit, I had my "stage" of HDR. :mamoru: Here's one from '08 that I did.
