What the hell happened to the 2500HD Denali Diesel :sadwavey:

After SEMA I never heard one word about it.

It never existed except as a concept. Honestly the Denali concept made sense for the half ton (better engine, tranny, all-wheel-drive) but it doesn't make that much sense in the 3/4-ton... It would just be some extra chrome. Just get a SLT2.

Is "Denali" just a trim package?

not really a pacakge... it's a whole different trim level.

Different engine, trans, interior styling is diff, exterior styling is diff.

yeah but they said that it was like 99% production ready and they pretty much so no reason why it wound't be made

And it would make sense to compete agaist dodge's larriat and ford's king ranch and so on.

Plus it was the exact color i was hoping they would make the GMC trucks in. I hate all the other colors :wtc:

iirc, they said "no reason it *couldn't* be made. Could and Would are very different.

It would compete against the king ranch... but not against the larriat. The dodge larriat is a very sad trim level and is no higher than the standard GMC SLT2 trim. And although it would compete against the Ford, it's not really a big market segment. GM needs to focus on CORE products/values. I don't think this would be good for business.

    what color?

The stealth gray was to blueish

And the last is too brown.

The middle color just looks meh.

I was all about some of the colors till i saw them in person. Then wasn't real impressed. Notthing that really poped

This is the only color i liked so far

I'd be happy with the top trim level they have now if it came in this color :hsd:
