I took one out for a test drive this past weekend. very nice car. Love the HUD and just about everything. could use more power, but its perfect family car.

good job on that one GM, :bigthumb:

The Saturn Outlook is way cheaper and doesn't look shitty. :dunno:

edit: statement about looks comparing Outlook to other/previous Saturns, not the GMC, which looks better. :hs:

I also test drove the new Tahoe. very nice on that too. Love the power and hugeness.

surprisingly, the Tahoe is the same length as the Acadia.

The V6 Acadia/Outlook perform the same as the Tahoe/Yukon and use less fuel. They have more room in the 3rd row too. :o

oh yeah, and the 3rd row in the acadia is so very easy to get in and out of.

not to mention all the room when the 2 back rows are down flat (120 Cu ft)

Reasoning behind this is the whole platform was made pretty large b/c it was originally meant for GM's next iteration of minivans, but they canned that idea and made those minivans into SUVs. :o

If you don't need to tow the Acadia/Outlook is a better choice than the Tahoe/Yukon.

The last one I drove averaged 22mpg in heavy traffic and was easy to maneuver. I was impressed.

how are they in terms of overall size? i'd imagine that the tahoe has more cargo capacity but the acadia is a better people mover.

I agree. I'd only get the Tahoe if I plan on towing.

I dont have anything big to tow. I get pressure from my in-laws to buy a tahoe so i can tow one of their toys (27 ft camper/ 30 foot motorcycle trailer)

    I didn't buy the toys... :rant2:

The Acadia/Outlook are nearly the same size with more interior volume.
