The rumors are flying, especially after thier profit warning yesterday, that Chapter 11 is right around the corner. Thier market share has already dipped below 25% this year. Their stock is tanking and their bond rating will most likely fall to junk status in short order.

Of course rumors are flying, but what chapter 11 would allow them to do would be really good for them methinks.

Looks like the unions have won!

Maybe they will be able to start over without the union jerkoffs and hire people who will actually work for their paychecks.

It would suck if GM declared bankruptcy but hopefully it will give them a good oppurtunity to restructure their business.

GM and Ford need to start building decent cars and drop their overpriced shitbox cookie cutter pieces of shit if they want to compete

Fucking unions... i hate when they cause low sales to put a company in the tank. Those unions need to quit helping their competitors make better products..those assholes. :ugh2:

It's unlikely, GM is still a solvent company.

If GM does declare bankruptcy, it would be more of a stratigic move. They have enough cash and assets to survivie, but they do need some leverage to force unions to change.

United Airlines still has the Unions. The UAW isn't going anywhere.

Ford was in a much worse position just a few years ago with the Firestone debacle and they managed to stay out of bankruptcy court.

GM will not declare bankrupcy. Sheesh.

One poor year doesn't destroy a company.
