So the man is working on a '93 Pontiac Grand Am and it decided to take a shit on us. We now have 3 vehicles between the 2 of us and 1 works... my gas guzzler.

Point being, he got the code (GM OBDI Code 19) and doesn't know what the fuck that is supposed to mean or how to fix it (7X reference signal problem. ECM has detected either too many or too few pulses between sync signal within 4 minutes.) He's told me the alternative code means that the fuel pump isn't getting juice... bullshit we can hear it kicking on.

Anyone got any help here? I'm losing my mind having this one truck between us, 2 jobs, and school. HELP!!! :sadwavey:

I believe this is where he went for the code. It's a 2.3L '93 "troublecodes.net/gm"

7X reference signal problem is something to do with the Reluctor wheel and the crank sensor stuff. I would guess the Crank Position Sensor is missing in and out?

You happen to know where exactly the crank position sensor would be? Seems to be a $20 part... could try if we knew where it was
