I heard Glock has some sort of purchase program where you can buy any new glock for $299 if you're LE or military.

Where can I find out more about this? There is nothing on glock.com.

Also, what other companies have similar programs?

The program was run out of the shop I went to (I'm not LE, but my brothers are). The shop there gave them the Glock LE discount. Maybe call a local shop and ask them?

You'll need to have a military or law enforcement issued ID before they'll sell to you. If you are LE, they might require a letter, on official letterhead, signed by your chief. If they have to order be ready for a 4-8 week wait.

You can also get the discount on fire or EMS ID. Get the phone number off Glock.com, ask for the LE sales dept. They can direct you to a LE dealer in your area to buy from.

So then the DTG in your usertext should be 20070108, correct?
