    seen those at a couple gun shows. definitely stands out. at gun shows black people seem to stare at them

    I don't see why they are worth more. Who the hell buys a Glock because it's pretty? They are damn ugly guns... but a very effective tool. I'd rather pay a little extra for one of the Austrian proofed import guns than a polished G19/G23 with gold lettering.

    There was a Talo listed on texasguntrader.com for a LONG time. He kept updating the ad with a lower price every couple of weeks... I think he was down to around the cost of a 'normal' G23 when the ad disappeared, so I assume it finally sold.

    if the finish is the only difference i think i'd stick with the plain jane's.

    i love the simple finish on the glock, it's functional and that's all i care about with a carry piece anyway.

    i guess if i wanted a gun for the range that i didn't plan on conceal carry (cause who cares if it's pretty when you have it just to protect yourself) i might consider a pretty version like that so i guess i see why they are making them :dunno:
