I am going to sound like some gangster thug here so let me explain myself.

I guess :arkansas: would explain it. I live in the semi country. I have about 40 neighbors that live within 1/4 mile from me, but we own about 1,100 acres. Quite often, we take care of a skunk problem outside the house and it's always freaking out the old women neighbors when they hear shots at night. Does anybody know of a 400.00 or less suppressor for a G19?

$400.00 or less actually means $200 or less, since you have to pay the $200 tax stamp - the answer is "hell no" You're looking at minimum probably $350-400 for the can and $200 tax, and the can is probably going to be more than that. Hell, for $400 you can buy a nice pellet rifle that will kill skunks easy as pie with varmint pellets. :dunno:

Before the stamp. I've already looked into the requirements and know my Chief Law Enforcement Officer that would have to sign the documents, etc.

Yeah, a pellet gun would probably work. I have a heavy barrel .22 that we use sometimes that's pretty quiet, but I figure if I want one that I only have a couple of years to act on it.

    I agree.

This sounds like more of a reason to get a 10/22 or a nice pellet rifle.

And I think I would much rather keep out of pistol distance of a skunk.

Shit, I sleep within 6' of some of them. They keep shacking up under an air conditioner outside and I thought we had gotten rid of them. They're back, but at least I can't smell them.

Find a rifle chambered in .22 short and use CB shorts in it. Just as loud as a high powered air rifle, but with quite a bit more thump due to the heavier projectile. Perfect for small furry creatures.

You can shoot CBs out of any .22LR.

Don't forget to add a threaded barrel to the list of expenses for your glock.

Shit gets expensive in a hurry which is why I haven't bought one yet.

I'd just get a .22 can for taking care of skunks in your price range. 9mm would work but I'd rather shoot 'em with a rifle. .22 will be quieter too.

~$300-$400 for a good can, <$80 to thread your barrel and you're good to go.

A cheap long barrel bolt .22 is what you need.

Run CB shorts, or regular CB's. Quieter than a pellet rifle or a suppressed centerfire, easier to shoot, and less expensive.

CCI made .22LR round. Uses a very low power charge to make it quiet. Still has enough power to easily punch through a board fence and kill lots of stuff.

They come in short and LR configurations, but neither will cycle a semi-auto, and oftentimes you will have trouble mag feeding them. Hence the suggestion for a cheapy single-shot boltgun.
