I discovered a broken one in my gun before area 4 in mid October and another broke again yesterday at a local match yesterday. About 2000-2500 rounds between springs. Is this normal life?

Note both were glockworx springs but I don't think that matters.

Also both times it broke on the trigger bar side and not the housing side. Not sure if that's significant but I figured I'd mention it in case it is.

Its not an uncommon probelm... but I've got about 10K/ea through both my 19 & 17 and haven't broken a spring yet. The 19 is all OEM, the 17 has a Vanek trigger. Not sure where Charlie sources his springs... I'm assuming Wolff but that is speculation.

the trigger spring is a consumable and needs to be replaced. Still you should be getting 10k - 15k out of one of our trigger springs so I think there is something going on there.

When you had the spring installed was the hook position up or down on the side connected to the trigger bar. Do you notice any burrs in the trigger spring hole on the trigger bar. Is there a edge or burr on the bottom of the of the tab the trigger spring connects to that is rubbing the trigger spring.

I'll check the spring position. Which way should it be?

Hook down into the bar, hook up into the ejector housing. Send me a PM w/ your address again and I'll send you some more trigger springs.

    Thanks. Will do.

I'll check but I'm relatively certain it is how you say. Also I'll check for burrs, etc in the bar and housing.

Ray, springs came today. Thanks a ton. Should have time today to check out the gun and see what's borking it.
