anyone have one? if so which one? i want to get a pinky extension and i don't like how the extension just ends abruptly at the mag. i thought the plug might fill the gap so to speak.

The thing I don't like about them is they take away the feature the hole's put there for. Being able to forcibly extract the magazine by pulling on the front and back in the case of a malfunction.

no, they don't block it at all.

I have no issues grasping the bottom of my mag.

good point. but the lanyard hole has a reason too and i don't use it, i see your point, but i'd really like to cover the magwell hole

The plugs I've seen block the half-circle cutout from the opening into the magwell. That's where in case you need to forcibly extract the mag. I'll deal with blowing out lint/dust every few weeks :wiggle:

I thought about having problems removing a fubared mag with the plug there. I bought one to try it out. I can easily grab quite a bit of the mag still.. now under stress would be a whole different story. Not sure if I'm keeping mine in or not.

That's my thoughts. All my pistols are fighting tools, so anything that may make them harder to run under stress isn't something I want.

I just don't see the point of them. The space in the grip is there for a reason :dunno:

If I had a glock I'd put a tootsie roll in there. Emergency snack!
