finally took it home today. ran about 50 rounds thru it just to christen it and as usual w/ my glocks it was flawless. I shot some soda cans and some wooden 2x4's and it knocked em all down hard. Me likey

didnt have much money to buy some high end SD ammo so i just loaded up a mag w/ 230 grain remington UMC jhp's...should be fine for now. And i called to check the status of my CWP seeing as its been nearly 2 months since i mailed the app. in...it was already mailed so i should get it within the next 2 days :hsd:

good stuff. any glock .45'ers wanna chime in?

I had a 21 and miss it, picking up 2 new glocks soon debating between the 21 and 30, also going to get a 29 so not sure if I want to go compact or get another 21 :hs:

i had a 21 a while ago and traded it for another gun when i was going thru my transitional phase between guns....regretting it ever since...bought the 30 cuz i liked the 21 but the 30 fits my hand PERFECTLY. the recoil is equal to my G26 IMHO...i got doubletaps off with 230gr hardball and the muzzle came right back on target.

heard the 10mm glocks are the shiznit...wouldnt mind tryin one someday but the ammo prices make me wanna pass on buying one :o

so this makes 3 glocks in my collection...if i buy too many glocks am i gonna turn into an austrian? :mamoru:

I sold the 21 cause someone made me a good offer on it in package deal with my 17, didnt need the 17 since I was getting a 9mm P99, I dont miss the 17 at all the 21 however was a mistake to sell. I reload so I just gotta pick up the stuff for 10mm and I'll start reloading it.

Soon you will be posting threads about how Gaston is a god :noes:

My G30 is one of 2 guns I will more than likely never sell, the other is my 870.

RWeyant and I usually got to the Shoot Straight in Apopka.

Nice setup they have there.... free range time for members.... bring some WAY cheaper Wal-Mart Ammo with us.

He has a G30, I bring a Sigma 9mm and old school SW .38 Special

i shoot random stuff in my girlfriends backyard...she lives in orange city on rural property so her dad has a makeshift gun range 10 yards from their patio..
in town, i usually go to East Orange shooting sports on forsyth in winter park. Its literally right around the corner from my house so its uber convenient and everybody there knows me well including the owner.
    We should go shootin sometime!

Sounds cool.. I go to shoot straight in apopka(live in longwood) I have a membership there since I got shooting every other day it saves me a lot of money.. Although if you can convince your gf's dad to let us have a gat fest in her back yard that would be awesome..:)

haha thatd be pretty cool but i doubt her parents would be to thrilled...her dad is a gun nut like everybody here but her mom says their dogs get freaked out by alot of gunfire....when i fired the mosin out there, her little dog kacey ran under a desk and wouldnt come out for like half an hour lol...
so now were only allowed to shoot "less noisy" stuff like pistols....no rifles

lemme know the next time youre plannin on hittin shoot straight and maybe we'll hang out...ive got a case of 9mm and an ammo can full of various calibers i need to make my way through
