some spy shots of the new gt35r equal length turbo setup going on it. This is coupled to an AMS built raceblock, eagle rods, wiseco pistons, removed balance shafts, o-ringed block, lot more goodies too like cams, gears, clutch, blah blah

best time to date is 11.372 @ 127.1mph on the juice. Had more in it but I was only on a 23.5" tire and got kicked out for no roll cage. Coming back this year in the 600+ fwhp range and ready to roll ;)

Damn, sweet ride.... not sure about the eyelids, but otherwise, I like the stock "sleeper" look

yea, only visual mods on the exterior up to this point were tinted windows, shorty antenna and eyelids. Everything else was all performance.

Unfortunately, with sponsors and taking it racing end of this season into next, that's going to change, but it's not going to be a street friendly ride anymore either. Probably only bring it out on the weekend. The truck is a much smoother quieter ride anyways compared to open exhaust and no cat converter LOL

yes I am (username is glacius over there) :) Should get some dyno numbers and test runs in this car within the next 2 months :) It's also going to be a good car to test some of our other traction upgrades for these cars too. Trying to lock this thing down on the ground and get some solid 1.5 short times out of it and make use of all 600+whp

heh, I bought this car as a beater. I had a Dodge Avenger I was building for the track (2.2 stroker, 60-1 turbo, equal length mani on that, megasquirt, 3spd drag tranny) but just kinda fell in love with this so much more. Sold the avenger, bought a new hemi ram truck and time to take this thing to the next level :)

ya never know what may happen when I'm out there picking it up with the camcorder in a lil over a month :naughty:

do I think I'll beat it... hell naw. The evo's have alot more development time into them, and are making more whp then I probably will (especially at the time of pickup, and I'm 850 miles away from AMS's shop so I doubt we'll get many cruising videos together) Advantages on my side would be a lighter car and less drivetrain loss compared to them, but I'll be fighting for traction in 4th gear probably on street tires. We have no numbers whatsoever on this car yet. Only reference would be the srt they bought, which has a 3spd auto (huge drivetrain loss compared to 5spd), crane 10 cams (totally wrong choice lol), stock throttle body, stage 1 and an afc, beefy fuel system and no headwork that's it. This car laid down 597whp

I'm stage 1 ecu, afc (going megasquirt when it comes back for fuel and spark control), more aggressive #16 cams, cam gears, 60mm throttle body, ported head, stg 4 6 puck clutch (shoulda went twin disc but they kill input shafts on srt's :crying:). Overall figuring probably 630-650 range before standalone, and i got a wee bit o' giggle juice when the standalone goes in to try and crest 700+ on the car if I'm feeling froggy. motor is fully built, o-ringed, balance shafts taken out. This wasn't even a rebuild, I started with a brand new block from mopar to get things started right

    grinding welds = no no

why would you wanna take the strenght out of the welds on a tubular manifold?

yup, that's the best part, it is in fact still a neon so by all means understimate it :)

There are plenty of ways you can go about doing it without damaging the integrity of the welds.
