    Ok so I enlisted in 2008 and signed up for the max G.I. bill (72,380 over 3 years I believe) I am still 4 years from ets but I want to make sure I got my ducks in a row, anyone know where I can get info on the post 9/11 GI bill? or explain the benefits vs the original... do I need to sign up or pay into it? just some questions I have! any help would be appreciated!

    No one pays into the new G.I. bill. You will meet the requirements for the max at the end of your current contract. Go to that website and it has all the answers. You could also call a VA/G.I. bill rep at the college you are looking at going to.
