Im getting some conflicting info on it so i hope someone here is in the know.....I've been in the army guard for about 7 years, was activated for a year and a half for OEF and now im finally getting out. My question is can I still get the gi bill monies for school after i get out? Some things im reading say no after you get out but that doesnt make sense to me because if you were active duty you'd have to wait till you got out. Thanks for any info.

Ends the day you separate. Active duty guys don't exactly have the time to attend school fulltime so their gibill usually expire 10 years after discharge.
