I am curious about the pin spoaciing on it, cause when i use my friends GHR, It is like I either get my knees too far from the pad or not close enough.

I don't know if I've completely forgotten what the GHR movement looks like, but none of those are it.

Also, is that like a lazy man's Reverse Hyper or something?

    :ugh:

    I hope I'm right. :o

My gym has a Sarden GHR bench which looks exactly like the Elite one minus band attachments. I don't know if its any cheaper though.

looks like a ghr bench to me:dunno: i wish my gym had a reverse hyper though, you can do ghr's with no equipment on the floor just fine.

That one is pretty decent. Seems like you would have to adjust it basically all the way up for you to actually be doing the movement correctly though..

I know they are expensive... but I have this one it's the low end model. I use it all 5 days that I work out and It's still in great condition. I've had it for around 1.5 years.

for one, on a GHR you go bellow parallel, also, there are other differences.

On a real GHR the knee changes position. With a manual hamstring curl the knee stays stationary.

On a real GHR you can push your feet into the toeplate.

When you perform a real GHR you have knee flexion AND hip extension.

A real GHR hits your hamstrings, glutes, and calves. A manual hamstring curl hits, well, your hamstrings.

Ceaze, I really feal natural GHR's in my hammy's and calves not just my hamstrings. I have also used a real GHR bench and know they are very different in how they feel. The thing that I feel doesnt get hit w/ natural GHR's is my glutes.
