I've been into photography for approx. a year now and am excited that my photography skills have been improving since then. I know i'm not a top notch photographer right now, but perhaps in a year or two I will have some work worthy of selling. I don't intend for it to be my main source of income, I would just love to see my work on display.
My question is, how do I know when my work is up to par with gallery work? I've seen some amazing work in galleries, and i've seen some horrible work in galleries. I don't know when I should start submitting my work to galleries. Any advice?

Here's my daily pictures of the day from the past two days for reference of my skill level (not that i'm saying i'm good or anything, but I know it's not bad)

submit to a gallery and they will tell you

stock work is much more beneficial to the wallet than a gallery is.

Just submit it and see what they think. It doesn't matter if you think it's gallery-level work or not...you're not the one deciding whether it will go up or not. Try out it.

Both of those pictures look like they could have been taken on any point and shoot and had the contrast upped in photoshop
