Getting polish/wax off matte black...

My car has a matte black stripe on the hood and inset on the spoiler. I taped it off and avoided it like the plague because I heard it's a bitch to clean if something gets in it.

Well, it was a good 95* and humid today so I was kinda blacking out and just got a sliver of polish on the matte past the tape.

I've tried a little water & vinegar, even windex and nothing is working. Any tips?

Time and car washes. Just don't worry about it.

Peanut butter. Really. The oils will remove wax residue. Usually, an APC (all purpose cleaner) will also work.
