I'm really trying to get 'organized' on my PowerBook. Using address book, starting to use Mail. But it seems like I'm going crazy trying to get organized.

    Anyone else do this?

    I use gmail for address/calendar
and tadalist.com for lists of things that i need to do/calendar things

that way i'm not tied to any specific computer...
if i could find online budget tracking i'd be golden...

Gmail/Google Calendar. I'm still waiting for a proper task management solution for the iPhone.

That's because it logs into your account and auto updates vs. ccb's method of relying on the user to keep things up to date.

both are good/bad depending on who you are.

I've gone to using iCal and Address Book more now that I have an iPhone. My iCal also pulls the info from my Google Calendars. Works great.

how do you do this and is there anyway to do it in both directions? i need to have a publicly visible calender and like ical but don't like manually doing the sync.

I use mail and address book. All my photos are organized and tagged, music has clean tags and album artwork. Documents folder is organized and neat. I use iCal for all that stuff....

    I'm pretty OCD. :ugh:

The need to be OCD organized is getting less and less with more powerful searches.

    Thank you Google/Apple :)

For your photos, do you just use iPhoto? and if so, do you let it make "Rolls" for you? Or do you overwrite that feature and manually organize your photos?

You can setup iCal to pull the Google calendar info but to upload your iCal stuff to the Google calendar you have to export the calendar from iCal and upload it manually to Google Calendar (there may be a program around to do this for you but I haven't searched for one). You setup the sharing under the calendar settings.
