I need all of them out but the last 2 weeks my jaw has been in tremendous pain and the oral surgeon said he would only do two at a time.

How long will this put me out of weight training? They are all pretty fucked up and growing sideways, 3 are out, one is not at all and that one hurts the most and is making my jaw KILL especially when I eat.

It depends. Everyone's different. It sucked for me. I didn't lift for a little over a week and I came back weak as fuck and had lost weight. I popped vicodin left and right for awhile. I lived on a diet of slushies, ice cream, whey, and soup. My mouth has never been the same since that fucking surgery. Every now and then my teeth will get sensitive and hurt. NEVER had that shit before the surgery.

just get fucked up on percocet

I was only out for a day or two and then felt fine. I know some people who had impacted wisdom teeth and were hurting for a week or so.

I was out for a week or two. I just took it safe, didn't want to worry about the wounds opening up or anything. Enjoy the drugs.

    I actually gained weight :ugh2:

motherfucking truth right there. I was left with little "food pockets" behind my molars where a single grain of rice will fit perfectly, and stay forever if I don't dig it out or squirt it with that little squirt tool they gave me. It's lead to some serious issues for my bottom two molars.

even worse if you get dry socket, fucking thing sucks.

I got my last two out a few months ago - one was severely impacted. Totally out for probably 1 week. You don't want to pop your stitches. When I picked it up again I got minor bleeding from the extra blood flow but it wasn't bad. I'd wait until the stitches come out (assuming you don't get dissolvables). Also, make sure you get an anti-swelling medication (I got Decadron). My oral surgeon also gave me antibiotics and oxycodone. However I felt absolutely no pain until I ran out of the decadron. By then it had healed a lot so it wasn't bad. Keeping the swelling down was the most important thing for me.

:werd: My bone didn't fill in properly on the bottom once b/c it was so impacted when it came out. The large space let food get in there and it was constantly infected. No pain though. I had to go back and get the dead shit all scraped out and then have it filled with something to facilitate bone regrowth. Yeah being awake while they scraped out dead shit from a hole in my was not fun.

on a positive note, nothing is more intimidating than spitting blood inbetween your sets at the gym.

oh man i remember when i had mine taken out, fucking sucked

i woke up in my room and felt my face and there was cloth. i turned and looked in the mirror and my mom had put ice in her pantyhose then tied it around my face to keep the swelling down, fucking bitch

it was terrible though. i remember when i took a sip of cold water, it was like a blast of intense pain shot through my entire skull, i thought it would split :wtc:. food getting in the holes was also horrible, and for what feels like the longest time, you have blood breath because of the wound :hs:

yeah dude 2 impacted 2 removed just to be safe
no big deal in and out
a little bleeding for a day or two while i took the painkillers and chilled
Id say your fine lifting after 3 or 4 days

but once the teeth are impacted, the potential for complications increases significantly
