I can't seem to get my v3c to sync with my comp. I got the charging driver to work but getting Moto phone tools to work has been giving me problems. Any help would be great.

Do you have any other sync programs like the afore mentioned MS Activesync, or HotSync for Palms? If you do there might be some kind of conflict there. When you connect the Razr does windows acknowledge the connection? ie. do you get the little prompt bubble down by the task bar that says a new usb device is found? If not maybe it's the sync cable? Also are you getting any kind of error message when you try to start up the app or plug in the phone?

Also I guess you could just try uninstalling and reinstalling the Motorola Phone Tools app.

My V3c would charge via USB, but Phone Tools could not find it. While trying to connect Phone Tools asked me to manual choose my phone, and when it does don't use a Razr, use a V710, it will work that way and you will have access to everything on the phone.

Is there a way to transfer your photos from your phone to computer without purchasing the phone tools software?

well yea... IR but most cellphone doesnt offer that feature anymore. Then you can always upload to your provider like for verizon it would be zwpix.com from there u can d/l the pic.

you can also just send them as a regular MMS message, instead of putting in a phone number, put in an email address.

The same thing is happening to me. I've tried to use v710 and it will sync and transfer the contacts and calendar, but when i try to send files, the connection drops. Any ideas?
