I'm not going to use it on my corporate email but I may set up my own exchange server (if i feel like being cheap) or just get .me

Do I have to get hte $45 plan? I just want push email. I really wish gmail would just offer push mail. :hs:

You don't need the extra business plan to use exchange features.

I'm not sure to be honest, I tested out an exchange account on my ipod touch and everything worked fine. I think its for if your iphone is being controlled by your company, IE. they can remote wipe it and they can put their custom apps on it but I could be wrong.

I setup my mail on the iphone with gmail, and asked it to push/fetch every 30 mins. You can set it up to push either every 15, 30 or 60 minutes. It's not instant since theres not native app (yet), maybe in September. But for now, every 15-30 mins is fine for me.
