I've always liked fighting. Been suspended 5 times for fighting throughout junior high / high school but those were just stupid brawls. My older brother's friend is a pretty crazy fighter and goes to a gym in the city (SF). However, how do I progress from stupid brawler to fighting in a gym where I won't look like a fool? I play-fight with this kid whenever he's over to learn moves and what not but that is not enough. They offer Jiu-Jitsu classes/fight nights at my gym (weights, not fight) and I plan on going to those starting this next week.
