Getting headrushes...almost dizzy feeling when going heavy

    happened before, heavy db bench press.... when i go back on the bench and put the DBs up, i get this headrush where i feel dizzy.... could it be im not breathing right? Or all the pressure? :ugh:

    control your breathing better.. inhale when you are bring the weight down, hold it when you do the first intense push back up, then start to exhale for the rest of the movement..

    also, after my sets, i wait a second before i get up so the blood can drain outta my head/face..

    yes...i think there might be something wrong with your breathing...i have never had such a problem except when i do like 20 rep squats or something

    I get dizzy too when I strain really hard, could be the breathing I guess.

    I also get the rushes sometimes. I have a bad habit of breathing poorly when I'm going heavy..
