I'm gonna fire up cain and abel to see if I can give it a whack with that.

I'm trying to save someone's files, but I'm getting "Access Denied" I'm presuming the system has set permissions on these when they made a password for the XP computer.

Any recommendations or any software that can bypass this.

if you can, take the drive to a computer you have admin access to and change ownership to yourself.

Use XP Pro. Take Ownership of the folder, then assign "Everyone" "Full Access" in NTFS permissions.

XP Home in safe mode will have the same security tab as Pro. Take ownership, reset permissions, enjoy. Been there, done that.
