Getting closer to my ar15, waiting for the monolithic uppers and the magpul UBR stock to be released. Supposedly the UBR is delayed at least 2 more months though I'm not sure if I won't go with a different stock.

Today I got in 9 cproducts stainless 30 round mags, 2 cprod 20 round stainless mags, and a pelican box for them.

Sadly the case with loaded mags weighs a little over 13 pounds....it will float up to 12 pounds so its neat to know that if I needed it to float, removing a mag or two would make it float even loaded.

I'm pretty sure I wouldn't buy any HK product.

The vltor vis or larue monolith are what I'm thinking about for uppers right now. If I could come up with a slick way to get a setup that would allow a folding stock though I might consider that too.

Wow. Two more months would make me pretty anxious. Especially if by then, winter came. Its going to the BSR for you then.

Nothing like trying to sight in buis and an eotech and really stretch the legs of a new full float rifle at 25 yards ;)
