well its been a couple years since i've hit the weights hard and over that period of time have put on a few extra pounds that I would like to lose now. I used to post here a bunch, but havent been around in a loooong time. I've still been active, and have trained krav-maga for the past year and am still in still good cardiovascular shape, but my slower metabolism combined with a disgustingly huge diet of shitty food has got me to the point where I would really like to lose some weight to fit into my old clothes, and just be more comfortable with myself. I had a knee injury which kept me from training krav-maga so i havent been active at all lately and with the shit diet i've put on a good amount of weight in the past couple months I have been lifting a couple times a week the past month and am happy with where my strength is. On chest days I start off with incline barbell and rep 225, 100lb dumbells on flat, and deadlifted 405 2x today. i'm 6'3, 235, 44" waist measured at the widest point(wear a size 36 jean)....way too fat for my liking. I've lost weight, gained weight, and know my way around everything pretty well, but just wanted to start a discussion to see if I could get any pointers. I have always been taking protein after working out/training, and just bought a tub of BMF Insane MG (like no-explode)...no other supplements. I work 9-4 and have been hitting the weights after work around 6. Anyone got any good tips on which direction I should go with diet/cardio? where the old timers I remember, PurEvl, timberwolf, Ceaze, BigDamRay!! MaineSucks...and Lancer something or other with the boobs???
