    ok guys i have a farirly quickl question for you. I am buying an AMD athlon x2 3800+ and I have decided on gettign a dual graphics card solution.
    My question is this;
    I know the ups and downs of SLI and CrossFire, but is there any performance differences between the chipsets?
    (nfroce 4 sli and xpress200)

    xpress200 isnt even in the same category of the nforce4 sli chipset...

    my feelings are that the NForce4 SLI chipsets are MUCH more well tested than the ATI Crossfire chipests. You'll have more driver support in various OS's with the NVidia chipset, and probably better performance for now.

    I'm running Dual Opteron 280's (Dual Core 2.4Ghz 1MB L2 Cache), Dual 7800 GTX cards in SLI mode and the NForce Pro 2200 chipset (essentially the same as the NForce4 SLI chipset), and its rock solid and fast.
