I need to get my trousers and alpha jacket (brown dress uniform) refitted and I need to take off my old chevrons and put new ones on.

Do you guys recommend taking it to any nearby tailor, or should I take the trip to my reserve base (an hour away) to get it done by the off-base civilian tailor that has much experience doing such things ??

I have an Alpha Uniform Inspection in March.

    :dunno:
