GETJACKED, aspiring to be superbri one day

    I did shoulders today and went fairly heavy. I started out with 5 minutes on the bike to get a little blood flowing. Weighed in at 254, but I had a fair share of clothing on.

    Warmups with 3 sets of cuban rotations

    3x55 for 20-30 reps

    Moved on to DB military press. I've always had a strong DB press and this just put the icing on the cake as I maxed out my gyms DB's.

    Started out with 50 lbers, just mainly a slow negative and an explosive eccentric. Grabbed the 100 lbers and threw them up pretty easy, probably about 12 reps. 110's were kind of a pain in the ass to get up, made me kinda tired and only got 6 reps. 120's I grabbed a spotter and had them handed to me, and pulled off 6 reps. 125's again with a spotter and pulled off 4 clean reps.

    Moved onto upright rows. Threw on a plate on each side and started rowing. 4 sets of these, probably around 10 reps.

    I have no idea what the name of the next exercise. You place the cable on the lowest setting, crisscross your arms, and pull off a lateral raise type of movement. I did 3 sets of these on the 40 lb setting

    Farmers walk, 3 go arounds lasted about a minute with the 125 DB's. I carry and lift shit all day at work, so fatigue was set in at this point. Killer forearm pump, and grip felt good overall.

    Back day, I dedicated this one to bri, but I didn't pull 6 plates like I hoped :greddy:

    Started off with a nice little stretching regime and again, did 5 minutes of cardio with a little bit of light shoulder health (5 lb shoulder rotations).

    135 for 5
    225 for 5
    315 for 5
    405 for 5
    495 for 2
    545 for 1 (my old max)
    565 for 1 - new PR (took 3 tries)
    585... yeah, hopeless. that fucker felt like a million lbs

    Pullthroughs-
    full stack (200) for 4 sets

    Basically by this time my lower back felt like hammered ass and I could barely walk normal anymore

    Low Cable Pulleys
    whole stack (300) 3 sets

    Weighted crunches (35 lb plate)
    3 sets, done.

    don't really have an organzied split, my schedule changess so much I just do what I feel like. I generally keep it to 1 body part traioned a week

    basically the best chest day of my life today

    I felt like doing DB's, warmed up with a couple cuban rotations - very light, 10 lb plates. Benched the 35 lb DB's a couple times, just kinda get in the groove

    Jumped to the 125's, did 16 of them - a new PR. Then it was innovation time, my gym maxes out the DB's at 125, so I tied some 20 lb DB's onto the 125's (using a shoestring!) to make a grand total of 145! Repped them out for 8 reps. I coulda easily went higher, but it was such a pain in the ass. Did 3 sets of those, last set fell around 4 reps

    Pullovers - wide grip cable pullovers 90lbs - 4 sets

    Face Pulls - entire stack, 200 lbs 4 sets

    Chest Flyes - 240 lbs, bottom lever 3 sets

    Had about 10 people ask me what I was doing... the look on their face when I said it was too light was priceless

    thanks, I never really particulary trained for strength until recently, so the numbers moved up pretty fast
