If the Dems win back Congress this fall, and they will use this as the excuse for it.

I'm getting ready to do a big order of Glock and Sig mags. You know those evil 33rd 9mm Glock factory mags will be banned.............again.

I wouldn't be suprised if they try and ban AK mags this time around either.

    Fucking democrats. :greddy:

Yeah, definitely another drum mag for my ak is in the works, my dealer has a solid stock of the evil glock mags, and I'll get just an assload of ar / ak mags at the show. People at work think I'm crazy, but, I've got a bad feeling we'll have to endure another ban.

Need I remind you your republican president has said he'll sign an AWB if it hits his desk?

Republican, democrat, whats the difference :p

I don't think an AWB is actually a guarantee especially with the acceptance of CCW in most places now. Americans seem to be more open to guns right now.

:werd: that's what my plan is right now. I want to get as many rifles built as I can before they make it illegal. I should probably get a couple dozen more AK mags while I'm at it.

I'm sure that's true because Bush signs anything that hits his desk. He's the only president not to use his veto power.

Romy AK kits are only $100. You can build a legal one for well under $200. Yugo underfolders don't cost much more to build. Get em while you can.

I have been thinking of buying an AK kit and a receiver flat. Found an AK kit with a G2 trigger for 124 and the flat for 15 bucks.

I have a buddy that owns a machine shop so no problems finding a sheet metal brake for the bends. Just trying to figure out what all I would need to build a complete gun.

what you have Striker? kit or flat or both?

There's a guy selling flat bending jigs for $125 on Arfcom here. Bend a couple of flats and it'll pay for itself. That's probably the most intimidating part of the build but it turns out that it's the easiest part if you have the proper tools. When you think about it $180 for the press and $125 for the jig is a pretty small price to pay for being able to cobble together your own AKs whenever you want. I'll be buying a press soon and then I'll probably end up buying a barrel press kit and the rivet jigs from www.ak-builder.com soon after. Build em while you can!

Once you bend the receiver theres also some welding to be done for the rails isn't there?

<---has thought about building but not looked a lot into it
