I did it for 2 weeks last spring and decided it was gay and went back to a Bill Starr style routine.

With that much volume you will end up loosing strength.

yes. beat my ass. I'd say it's something to do as a 2 week shocker routine or something.

I have been doing a variation of that type of workout for about 3 weeks and have seen a bigger difference than I had when I worked out before...

I do that for the most part. I don't lose any stenght I gain because I also incoprate more weight with each set. For example

I rest 30sec to a min between sets

last night it took me 2 hours to do my upper body work out.

    for example Shoulders
    Dumbell Press
1st 12 reps low weight to just get loose and to fire my muscle up
    2nd 10 reps More weight
3rd 8 Reps even more weight
4th 6 Reps almost max weight I can do (85-90% of max)
5th set same as the 8th 12 reps (super set)
6th set 12 reps diffrent exercise same body group of muscles (side rasies)
7th Set 12 Reps again diffrent exercise same group of muscles (rear deltoid machine)

It's tiring but when I get to the supper set for some reason I rebound in strenght and power. I don't know why?? But this makes me grow I tried low valume heavy weight and I got stronger faster but I also end up injuring my self. So I'll stick to valume traning. The key is to always up the weight and complete the sets with control and perfect form. IMHO

    Mine...
1st-3rd sets relatively low weight to warm up
4th-7th sets heavy weight barely able to complete last rep...
8th set slightly lower weight but still heavy
9th -10th lower but still more than sets 1-3

As you said form is key I think...

Ya you just have to make it as hard as you can. With incurrect from you just ware you joints out quicker with valume training. It's not so much the weight but the time and form. Very little rest;)
