    I bent the clip on my Gerber-Emerson Alliance not to long ago and got around to emailing them about what size torx bit would work since I didnt have anything that would work.

    I sent them my address for the clip/screws and thanked them for their help.

    Probably some of the best customer service I have ever encountered.

    Yeah, Gerber's pretty good. I have one of their Legend 800 multi-tools, first-run (i.e. back before they selectively reduced quality on parts that don't get used much), but eventually one of the butterfly springs on the handles broke. I called them to ask for replacement parts, but they said they couldn't give them to me anymore because of liability concerns. (Apparently idiots who don't know how to work a bit driver can sue people for letting them hurt themselves.) So I sent it to them with a bunch of requests (replace the file, replace the scissors spring, don't replace the pliers that I ground down with my bench grinder, etc.), and I also sent an email to them with the tracking number of my package and a copy of my request list.

    They sent it back to me, untouched -- with a whole extra tool that had failed QA/QC because of a problem with the pliers. I just swapped out all the damaged parts myself and recycled the rest.
