Just finishing up Storm of Swords in anticipation of the 4th book. I had heard that it was due in June. Has anyone seen Feast for Crows (??) yet?

I've had Feast of Crows re-ordered through Amazon for close to 2 years now. :wtc:

Don't rely on e-bookstores release dates for this particular books. Go right to Martin's website. Then click on the About Feast for Crows link.

Yeah, who knows. Ive got my money on a x-mas release.

On a side note, Ive never really thought about the chapters as "viewpoints" or that they would be written and, perhaps, could be read independently...

I finished his 4th book last month. Great series, he's my current favorite author.

The series starts off in a very low magic fantasy setting. Lots of political plot points between noble families. Nobody is safe! :eek3: which makes the series very tense. You think you've got a handle on things and BAM! Point of View character is dead. :noes:

You know what's sad is that, when I started reading them, I had the mistaken impression that the first three books were a trilogy. Boy, did I get owned when I finished up the third. Now I'm stuck in Wheel of Time land again!

Probably not that bad. I think there's 2 more books coming. He won't take as long as Jordan.
