GM is making it so tempting to buy a car. Too bad most of their products under $20k are :ugh2:.

Geezus, Just called a dealer. They're dangling $7250 in total rebates and discounts. I can get a $20k car for $13k!

I was thinking about getting a used 2000+ Subby Legacy/Outback (4cyl) wagon for the Mrs when her lease ends in Nov, but now that GM has offered her early lease termination and all these discounts, the choice is new GM with full warranty or used AWD Subby without warranty. Both are nearly the same cost after loan is taken into consideration.

Damn that's a fat tempting carrot GM is dangling in front of me. :hs:

Actually, they ended the loyalty rebate sometime in April for larger rebates.

Wait for the Honda-powered VUE, it actually looks like it will be a cool little runabout.

Just used the rebate to get a 2003 Impala LS. It's definately nice.

It would be, except its out of our budget and they won't give very much incentatives for the 04s. Plus, I'm turned off by the plasticy interior doors.

Wife and I agreed it will be either a 2000 Jeep Cherokee 4WD I6 or a Subby Forester coming in November. :big grin:

(This is her car btw) :hs:

Beware of the Jeep. Just traded my '99 Grand in on the Impala, and it was having all kinds of problems. If you get it, spring for the extended bumper to bumper. The brakes were giving me all kinds of trouble. Not to mention 2 of the 4 windows stopped working and they want like $500 to fix them. They got the :fawk: on that one.

Well, no offense to you, but your 1999 GC was a first year model. I heard bad things about the 99 and 00 GCs. :hs:
