This stuff any good for just plinking? Going to use it as target practice for my carry weapon. Some Gold etc. ammo will be my actual carry ammo.

Not bad. It's on the hotter side.

When looking for something to pair with your defense ammo you want something with the same point of impact. People who shoot light target ammo and then think that is practice for their hot carry ammo are not getting the best practice.

I think speer lawman is pretty good.

I'm carrying *soon* a Detonics sub-compact 1911. They are very reliable and can handle +P very well. I haven't decided on the carry ammo yet but would match the bullet grains.

I shoot it in my Sig P226 all the time and it's never given me any trouble.

last time I bought ammo, Fiocchi was actually cheaper that WWB at least in .45 ACP. Not a bad plinking ammo.

The only problem I've had with Fiocchi is with their shotshells. If they sat too long in the mag tube, they would deform from the pressure and wouldn't chamber. Other than that, no problems.
