  2. I use gels with my bees all the time.

Got a few questions, hopefully you will find your answer in my questions. :)

    1. Do you already have your alienbees?

    2. Do you have the silver field reflector that came with your lights?

    3. Did you get the Nylon clips that came with your lights for attaching gels?

    4. Did you ever take a look at those little black nylon clips and wonder what they are for?

    5. Go get the clips and put them on your reflector and save yourself some money.

    what gels do you use/prefer.

  5. Don't put the clips on your reflectors till you get your gels, and use some common sense for clip placement before putting them on.

I don't really have a preference for which gels I use. They are basically just plastic sheets of paper, like transparencies for overhead projectors so I can't imagine there being a huge difference in which is better. But I have some roscoe gels and I found a nice bogen sample pack of gels for $25. If you want to see some pics PM me and I'll show you some samples.
