After using canned air to clean out the dust in my PC my monitor wouldn't turn on. I figured it was my monitor because it had been running nearly constantly for 7 years and my Geforce 2 64MB DDR (AGP) was 1 year old. So i got a new monitor ViewSinc A90F+ and the light would turn green then after a few seconds it goes yellow, just like with my old monitor. I figured it was my video card and i found my ancient 4mb Voodoo1 card and installed it and it worked.

So the next day i went out and bought a new Geforce 2MX (PCI) and went home and now that one won't work either! The only video card that will work is my Voodoo 1. What the hell is going on? Is it my powersupply? Any help is appriciated.

In BIOS when you installed your GeForce 2 MX did you set the boot VGA device to PCI rather than AGP?
