I'm sure I'll be posting a lot less once I start work.

But flex time FTW! During summers and maybe even sept. I'll be able to work 4-10 hour days and take fridays off yayayayayaya

I'm sure if I was a hot slutty woman I could make 2x the cash working half the hours stripping.

Well, the way I figure my budget for comics is pretty simple. First I figure out how much I can reliably depend on for my income. Then I subtract my bills + 10% more (in case something spikes), all divided by 2 (since I get 2 paychecks a month to pay the bills). I then figure out the current market value of ramen and determine how to ration them in a "healthy" way, and with that info, I determine the price of it over 2 weeks (the period between paychecks) and subtract that + 5%. I usually go through 2 cases of coke per week, so that runs me near $25 per pay period, so I deduct that too. I then take off $50 for gas per pay period. I further deduct $200 for catastrophic insurance, like if a wheel dents on a pothole (which used to happen every 6 months like clockwork), and in case I forgot something else I need to pay for. The remainder is my flexible budget, which is devoted 100% to comics. For me now, that's about $50. I'm in Idaho now, so I say fuck the potholes, I'm buying bags and boards. Actually, I just forgot to figure it in when I did my budget, so yeah, fuck the wheels. Anyway, if you wanna try that method, have at it. Let me know how it works out. I've never tried it.

    nice.

i'm not going to be used to having this sort of income. I figure anywhere from $100-300 will be fine. If I can keep it under 10% of my net pay, I'm happy :hsd:

yeah, i kinda forgot to mention. i blew my entire paycheck paying bills i didn't really need to pay until next month...with a few comic lots in there.

i'm paid up for about a month, kinda stupid since i don't have cash to spend. but it makes sense to me, no cash = no spend. :hsd:

He strips for commissions. Basically, what he does isn't the typical stuff you see in bars. He takes a commission and creates the fantasy for the person, arrives on the requested date, and performs the fantasy with his own twists. He gets a larger portion of the proceeds than strippers usually see since his act is requisite of greater skill than those other strippers. The clubs recognize that and reward him in kind. However, since his work is expensive, he doesn't get too much demand, which is why he won't get his commission check until the 1st.

I count pills. I'm a pharmacy technician, attempting to get admission into a pharmacy school so I can make lots of cash and buy the full run of Detective Comics. And a Jaguar E-type.

I got out of the cell phone game because of the decreasing commissions and increasing pressure to sell to make quota.

Now I'll be working my life away as an accountant woohoo :hsd:
