anyone ever been a recruiter? i have a step-daughter that is bombing the ever living shit out of high school and i want to sell her on the idea of joining to get her feet under her. i know they'll take you with a GED, but not sure how it works.

I did something called 'exit option' here in Florida. Pretty much "clepped" my way from 8 credits to 26 to graduate(took me 2 weeks but I knew of kids at the time that have been there 1-2 years). Then I took the GED test to get my HS diploma from the school I was at. Got in without any GED waiver crap either. Maybe where she is at she will have the same chance I had.

AF is hard to go the GED route, most recruiters are lazy and will just say they cannot do it. They can but most do not want to plus we are not really hurting for people so anyone without a GED would get first choice.

Other branches wouldnt care as much.
