My friends and I saw Garden State last night and I must say, I really enjoyed it. It was funny, entirely sweet, and thought provoking. I thouht it was just going to be one of those sad type emo movies or something, but it ended up being really funny. Zach Braff and Natalie Portman work really well together in this movie.

Who else has seen it? What did you think?

I liked it, quirky and nice change of pace from typical Hollywood.

Did you think Zach stole some of his technique from "Scrubs" like I did?

I don't really watch Scrubs all that much, but I've seen some of those goofy facial expressions on that show :p.

Zach Braff is seriously the most talented young actor in Hollywood. I can't believe he wrote, directed and starred in this movie. I still haven't seen it - but am going this week for sure.

The new season of Scrubs is hysterical by the way. Heather Graham? Not sure about that one.

Great great movie! My girlfriend and I just got back from it and I personally can't stop talking about it. It's a great mix of humor, drama, comedy all mixed into one and like someone stated previously, it's definitely thought provoking. It made me examine my life, but it's definitely a movie I'd recommend to everyone. You'll see, since it's playing in limited release (at least in Utah it is) only a "handful" of people will see it, but come Oscar time everyone will know about it and appreciate it! :)

Best movie of the year, by far. It's funny, meaningful, and so, so real. Braff had to pour so much work into it, and he did such an amazing job.

    Soundtrack is awesome too.
Let Go has to be listened to at night, driving fast and far on a rain soaked highway.

I definitely agree. The movie is great and the soundtrack compliments it perfectly. I listen to the soundtrack at least once a day.

Frou Frou's "Let Go" is great, but "Such Great Heights" by The Postal Service is my favorite song on the album. My friend clued me in The Postal Service. Their CD is awesome. If you like Frou Frou and "Such Great Heights," their album, Give Up, is all electronic and awesome. That CD is also in my rotation.

I am a fan of The Postal Service now as well, several of the songs on their album are really good.
