Wish I wasn't shooting at f4. :o Kind of spur of the moment, so didn't have much time to react....

Swear this was one of the most amazing things I've seen in nature. From the moment this stink bug hit her web, it only took about 20 seconds to completely wrap him up in her webbing. The way she moved her legs to spread the web was like watching someone spin a cello ......crazy. In less than a minute total, not only has she wrapped it......but also injected it with venom, and even returned to her stationary position for the next victim.

We also got to see her method of self defense. Not sure if she fears the 'granddaddy longleg'....or just wanted it to get off her web, but she rocked her abdomen back and forth vigorously to shake the longleg off of her web. She was moving about 6-8" back and forth......gave me goosebumps.
