Ok so with the Garand I just got, I have the option to load up on some Springfield accessories at a 'discount'. I'm just curious if the prices are reasonable compared to elsewhere (gunshows, ebay, etc).

10" Bayonet and Scabbard original GI issue, used- $119 (regularly 169)
    M-7 Bayonet and Scabbard- $69 (regularly 129)
Leather match sling- $22 (regularly 35)
Canvas GI sling- $8 (regularly 14)
    8 Round clips- $1.50
Original GI garand tool- $15 (regularly 25)
Buttstock cleaning kit- $17 (regularly 25)
    10 clip bangoleer replica- $49 (regularly 69)
    M14 bipod adapted to M1 Garand- $119 (regularly $161)

    :hs:

I'd get a match sling and those enblock clip price isn't bad especially if they're new ones. I'd forget the cleaning kit.

I want a bayonet but have yet to see one at a gun show in good condition... They ones I've seen are $60+ and take two people to unsheath becuase of the rust.

And buy me the M14 bipod adapted to M1 Garand...

Dunno how all the prices are, the clips you can definently do better on. The GI slings, tool, and cleaning kit I'de say are about average.

How long were the issued ones?

I've seen ones that have been ground down and refinished.

Blade I'de say is 10"-11" I've seen a bunch of different ones lengths seem to vary by when in the war they were made, earlier ones probably made before WWII broke out are like 14"+ 1943 and onward ones all look 10-12"

The original bayonet is 10" according to the sheet. I know there were variations in the length, but this is the only one they offer.

If you guys seriously want me to get you some stuff, let me know. I only get one shot to order so I need to stock up.

There is a gun show this weekend. If there isn't anything good there, then i'll be submitting this order to springfield on monday.

Out of all that, I'd only get the leather sling. The rest is pretty much pointless, unless you really wanna spend money.

That 10" bayonet sounds way to expensive. Unless it's a super mint variation or one of the "bowie" cut models. And $69 for an M-7 bayonet is a rip off.

Those prices aren't that great. You're not gettting that great a deal at all.
You can find these parts for cheaper at E-Gunparts.
    Here's a link: http://www.e-gunparts.com/productschem.asp?chrMasterModel=2070zM1%20GARAND

Also that leather "match" sling probably isn't a match sling. It's probably a cheap leather replica M1907 Sling. If you want a real national match sling look at a Turner Saddlery one. They run about $50.

Please don't order these parts from Springfield. It's just surplus and replica items that you can get anywhere else, but with SA's markup.

Lastly, that bipod is a waste of money. If you use the M1907 sling properly, it's all you'll need to shoot the garand in standing or prone position.

Just as long as you don't start talking about GIs carrying them around frozen Korea to trick those evil Commies into thinking they were out of ammo.
