all i want to do is make my own remixes
again, this isn't the program you want to do remixes with unless you have separate tracks for instruments and vocals.
Maybe you're just stupid.
thats it! why didnt i think of that to begin with!
you could always be helpful and list programs that will
honestly, I haven't found much to do remixes with on the mac platform. I have a demo version of traktor dj but its just two players and a mixer. the demo version doesn't allow you to save but the full version does. its like $700 though.
Propellerhead just released Reason for free. But if you think GarageBand is hard to pick up...christ, wait till you see Reason.
I just started playing with GB a few weeks ago and enjoy it. I d/l a bunch of JamPacks and you can do quite a bit with it even if you're not musically talented. There is a lot to tweak it in tho.
In general, you should really have separate tracks for every instrument if at all possible. I use Sound Studio for recording and Audacity for editing.
Since when? Link?
Shit my bad...I ment Rebirth. It's still a cool program tho.

so is rebirth that hard to use?
holy hell that was a good torrent!!! from 9:24 when i started the torrent, it took 12 minutes to download 258mb
if you want real studio mixing software, don't fuck around and pick up logic express or logic pro.
That torrent was made by, and posted on Slashdot. So you can imagine the speeds of a /.'d torrent file.
