I started working on this game a couple months ago in OpenGL. It's a little rough around the edges but it seems to be coming together alright. I call it "Operation Purge" and it's an old school shooter. No adjustable video options, but it runs in 1024x768x32. If your comp/video card can support that I'd like to hear your ideas/impressions and any bugs you see. Thanks

Also post your computer specs and framerates :bigthumb:

Nice game. I had 59 - 60 FPS on my machine with:

    Pentium IV 3.06 Ghz
    512 MB ddr ram
    128MB Geforce 4 ti 4600

The only suggestion I have is to make it a little easier in the beginning. I was dieing like crazy. game though. Much much better than anything I could make.

go to your openGL settings and turn off V-Sync, you'll get much higher FPS

I only have those enemies to test what they do, i haven't really finished putting them where I want, that's why it's so hard, but if you read the readme.txt file you can see how to edit that yourself within the script.txt file :bigthumb:

I probably should read the readme. I only skimmed the first part of it. :hs:

My opinions: You need a short blinking invulnerable state after each death. And, on the block indicating the gun type, put a name for each type under the block. (ie-Normal, Laser, Flamer; thats how I interpreted them at least) Pretty good so far!!

scdc - I think you need some newer drivers or something

When I turn off V-Sync I get anywhere from 277 - 390 FPS. Usually it stays around the 330 FPS area.

Hm, I'm curious now, I might have to try it on NT or under Wine... Or on 2k when I get my new machine.
