Gah.... confusing...

    I will make this short and sweet, I need to a good way, potentially the best way for me to lose body fat while retaining+building muscle if at all possible.

    Should I lower my caloric intake? Start doing cardio?

    Currently I only play basketball a few times a week for cardio and go rollerblading, I usually do a warm up on the tred mill before the weights.

    I had been pretty lazy the past year in the gym, on and off.

    I have been sick for a month with strep and didnt go at all, but now for the past 2 weeks or so I've been hitting the gym and trying to regain my composure.

    Anyways,

    This is what I look like right now......

    180lb / 5"10

    I would like to be 180lb and cut ;) lol .....

    I find all the info out there VERY confusing btw, any simple formula to take? I need a routine (diet) wise ... Its very hard for me to keep up good eating habbits, but I am ready to make the commitment. :bigthumb:

    P.S: I've read all the noob f.a.q's threads

    blaghr... im a lazy fuck....... I need motivation to be able to figure all this crap out and actually KEEP to a diet... fuck it, gonna do it :)

    you can either cut or bulk. do a search on cutting.

    If you wanna hit 180 lean then you need to bulk for a few months and hit the weights hard before cutting. Stick to the "cardio" activities you do for fun and just hit the weights and eat. You're not fat atm but you probably will be by time you're ready to cut but that's the way it works I suppose :o
