I really like the tC and G35....but for the money....tC is probably the better deal for me...my parents give me money to study in the states....i work as well...getting almost 1k per month out of my job...thinking whether i should get myself a nicer car....G35 or tC

G35 is gonna cost me double to LEASE...while the same amount of money every month i can paid off a tC....in the same period of time (36 months)

they are not even in the same league. The g35 is fucking sex on wheels. the tC is more practical in your situation, however.

Get the tC for now, g35 later on when you can afford it.

$198.23 per month. Call your insurance company and I bet I am dead on.

not likely. My insurance (perfectly clean record) is higher. It all depends if you want decent coverage or not.

for my 92 acura legend coupe, i pay about $180 per month (not driving it right now, but still own it)

and im 19, no tickets/wrecks, and that is full coverage

you should get a civic SI or something for the same general price range (not totally shitty) but you cant rice it out.

i pay 150/mo for my civic... 900/6mo. i only have 1point on my record, but quite a few tickets over the years.

the g35 would rape you in insurance charges AND monthly payments... it would be nice, but i say tC is teh realistic way to go.

ugh, dont get a shitty benz, get a good acura or something.

    good acura > shitty benz.

you can get a TSX for $27,xxx and the features in it are so much better than that C230. plus acura service/support > mercedes as im sure you have heard about

Obviously you didnt get the joke. :mepoke: It was an effort to get him to think about how bad of an idea it is to ask what his insurance will cost on an internet forum. If insurance cost is a factor, call your agent. You will have an exact price in about 5 minutes instead of waiting a couple days to find out what somebody else comes takes a wild guess and comes up with.

If your making 1k a month, I wouldn't even bother with buying a car. I can't picture financing a car + paying insurance + paying for gas. With all that stuff, you'll barely be able to feed yourself.

my parents pay for insurance and gas and everything else, just that my parents dont want me to drive nice car at young age using my parents' money. So my dad told me if you can earn the money to pay the car, then thats fine...

are your parents gonna commit to insurance/gas/maintenance/food/housing/school/etc for the next 5-7 years? Because that's how long you'll be making payments.... and that leaves you very little income for anything else.

because you dont want to be spending all of your money on insurance/gas/car payments. get the TC, start saving your money, and when you are tired of the scion, you will have enough money saved up to put a good down payment on whatever car you want.

my insurance ended up being like 1200 for 6 months, for full coverage (that DOES vary between states however)

if you have current insurance, progressive probably will give you the best rate... though farmers can come close sometimes....
also, smaller local insurance agencies can sometimes do better.

so either you're young with little driving history, or you are just shit out of luck :o (shit i didn't get my license till i was 21... but i plan to do a defensive driving coures to knock 60 a month off my insurance)
