worth it or just an over priced keyboard?
my $12 logitech keyboard does the job just fine
yea i need a new keyboard and just wondering if people thought they were worth it or just a waste.
to be honest, i cant see the advantages of dishing out so much cash for a keyboard. sure, it has extra keys for macros, and a little LCD screen... but who cares? if you need it though, go for it i guess
nah fuck that it sounds lame and you just agreed with me so ill just get the cheapest pos i can find pretty much
I have the logitech LX500. The nice thing about the keyboard is the shortcut keys. I just like the music control.
use one before you buy one
i tried a razer tarantula, silly price but lovely keyboard.
G11, all the macro and lighted keys without the lcd screen. You can usually find really good deals for them too, got mine for 20 bucks.
I've got the original G15 (blue keys, not orange like the new one) and it's a great keyboard. Lots of macro keys, lots of apps that you can get that will run on the LCD screen, plus the backlight keys are awesome.
I have the G15 (blue).
Make sure you have the space. It's longer/bigger than standard keyboards obviously.
Loved the macro keys. Very useful for gamers.
Is it worth it? No, if you pay full price.
Wait for a promo or rebate.
nice worthless move by the mods
I have the G15 (old one)
I'd do it again, if I went back in time
I dont use the LCD much, just once a while to check performance stats in game....never touched the macro keys, but totally love the backlite blue lights
I really enjoy nice hardware, thats one of my downfalls, and 100$ for a keyboard is not gonna break teh bank...is it do anything that a 5$ keyboard can't? well short of those 3 things (backlite, lcd, and g keys)...nothing at all
so it's your call
Get a good Logitech keyboard, just try to avoid the ones with the billion extra little buttons. I recommend a wireless one, if you don't already have one; no matter how good a keyboard is, sometimes you need to use your desk, and wireless makes it ever so easy to toss it aside.
