Was thinking this morning, I don't see it being too far fetched of an idea that Dana will probably bring some women fighters in one of these days. At our gym there is 2 young lady fighters and apparently they are pretty bad ass in the ring/cage.

maybe have them compete at a WNBA half time show

the only woman fights i'm interested in is mud wrestling or pudding etc etc.

maybe if dana has hot chicks in thongs fight i'd watch.

I'd rather see a 4th tito v shamrock than women fighting

My wife regularly goes to Savate and CSW, and has been tapping out some of the guys and has suprised me with a few Savate kicks. She knows her stuff, but probably wouldn't ever compete MMA. A grappling tourney, maybe.

I was in Thailand and was watching some Muay Ying on TV and that was so weird! There were two hot chicks beating each other up. I was so mesmerised by the women, that I wasn't even watching the fight. After 1 round I turned it off.

We have at least one ladies fight at CFC each time, the crowd usually goes crazy when the ladies come out.

yeah I think it is more popular then some would think. If we got some Muay Thai gal's from Thailand over here, if nothing else they could stand up and fight. Look at how tough the one was in the original Jackass the Movie

I say it would be great. It's extremely sexist to say women shouldnt do it or you wouldnt see them for their skills. I'd watch it. UFC should take a risk and have one of the fights on the card a woman fight. Guarantee you you'd get a bigger fanbase.

Ladies MMA is really good. Some of you guys hold very sexist views about it. There are all girl shows in Japan (Smack Girl) and some of the ladies are very talented tho typically they are a few years behind the evolutionary curve that the men have set.

Windy Tomomi is my favorite female fighter. Definately worth lookin into.

sorry to say, but it'll be just as successful as the WNBA. most of the MMA following is men, and they won't take it seriously. also, there aren't as many prominent female strikers, so that would be another downfall for womens MMA in the US

Just out of curiosity, half a decade later, How many of you anti-women's MMA guys watched Strikeforce:Tate vs Rousey? What were your thoughts?
