So every review I've read marvels at how easy it is to get performance out of the GTR and how effortless it is to drive, but how other cars are more tactile, more demanding, more challenging... My question is: isn't that the point? If we wanted easy speed, wouldn't we all be running bullet trains? What's the point in removing the skill and involvement of the driver from a performance car?? I can understand if it's a sport SUV like the Cayenne or the Range Rover Sport, or even a sport sedan like an E63 or M5 (or G8 GT), but for a sports car?? Come on- that connectedness, that effort, that thrill of holding it right on the edge- that's what it's all about. Fuck this panzy-ass easy speed shit. Oh- and the front end is still atrociously ugly, though the rest of the car is pretty fucking hot.
